These are some of the common questions we get about modcrosse balls.
What is the modcrosse ball made from?
It is a solid ball made from a compressed foam-like rubber that is quite squishy.
What’s the difference between a modcrosse ball and a normal lacrosse ball?
The main difference is in the composition. The foam characteristics of the modcrosse ball act a bit like a sponge. When it collides with anything it absorbs a lot of the impact force and return speed is significantly reduced.
This is quite different to a lacrosse ball. A lacrosse ball weighs about 80% more (140-145g) and is made from solid rubber.
What is the weight of a modcrosse ball?
The Modcrosse ball weight is between about 80g and 85g
What is the size of a modcrosse ball?
The diameter of a modcrosse ball is between 62.7mm and 64.7mm
