Introducing Signature Lacrosse

At LacrosseGear.com.au, we always get a bit up-and-about when testing out new gear. And shortly, we’re going to have a whole lot more gear to get all “upity” and “abouty” about.

It seems that everyone had the great idea that during the coronavirus isolation, wall ball was as close to lacrosse as we’d get. As a result, we sold out of lacrosse balls.

But every cloud has a silver lining.

This was our opportunity to go hunting for more lacrosse balls. But not just for any lacrosse balls, but the best balls.

We wanted the best lacrosse balls you can get.

One thing we’ve found is that some lacrosse balls end up “shiny”. That’s when they lose their rough external texture and become slippery.

Whilst you may not think it’s an issue, it makes a huge difference when passing or shooting. A shiny ball exits your stick earlier, meaning your passes are higher or you shoot over the goal.

But we also found that some balls don’t get shiny. I had the fortune of “acquiring” a ball from a touring team a few years ago and it was still rough; almost new.

On the side was “Signature“.

Signature Lacrosse are the market leading lacrosse ball manufacturer. They’re the best.

The Signature Premium lacrosse ball is the official ball of the NLL and the 2018 FIL World Championships. It is also the #1 ball in College Lacrosse and Youth Lacrosse throughout North America.

But Signature not only manufacture lacrosse balls, but they also make women’s sticks, men’s sticks, men’s heads and the all new mesh kits for women and men.

So we’re proud to announce ourselves as the Australian supplier of Signature Lacrosse gear.

It all arrives in the first week of July 2020 and is available for purchase through our store.
